The steel structure of the Minautor is designed to meet FOPS-ROPS standards. The use of steel provides the structure with exceptional rigidity while allowing the vehicle to remain compact.
The Minautor is equipped with disc brakes on all four wheels.
Spring-applied electromagnetic brakes, installed on the front and rear axle gearboxes, serve as parking brakes and integrated safety emergency brakes in the event of a failure in the vehicle’s electrical system.
The Minautor is also equipped with a dynamic braking system that uses the motors as electricity generators when the vehicle decelerates. The energy produced in this process recharges the batteries, improving range. The intensity of the dynamic braking is adjustable according to the user’s preferences and effectively helps control the vehicle’s speed when descending steep slopes. Additionally, this system can be configured to gradually stop the Minautor when the accelerator is released, virtually eliminating the need for mechanical brakes.
The Minautor features a spacious rear bed, offering a practical and versatile cargo area. With a loading volume of 515 liters, it can easily accommodate a pallet. Its Line-X coating makes the cargo space extremely durable.
Four-wheel drive is provided by two powerful three-phase electric motors, each delivering 10.5 kW of power and a maximum torque of approximately 58 Nm (43 lb-ft), for a total of 1,411 Nm (1,040 lb-ft) at each axle.
